The question has been asked,"When God created man, why did He create Him the way He did, knowing that he would be sinful?" Why didn't He just make man to not be sinful? Better, why didn't God just prevent sin from entering the world?
The reality is, if God would have done it that way, then man would not really be a creation of free will. That is important to understand. Here's a simple way to understand the theological principle ~ God did not make a robot when He made man. Rather, He gave man the ability to choose of his own free will to serve God. The opportunity to choose or not to choose God had to be a part of creation in order for God to truly be a just God.
Thus, man was created with the potential to choose; so that in his choosing, he could freely choose a Savior to stand in his place. If this is true then, it also follows that man doesn't have to choose evil. When he does so, it is because just that, he has chosen to.
At the end of the day, it is the options that God has given to man that makes man so special to God. And what better way to have an authentic love relationship than to freely choose to do so. Here's the blessing...if we choose correctly, then the unmerited blessings of God follow. So.....what, or rather who, will you choose???
